Meet Michele Muff
Licensed Professional Counselor
Hello, my name is Michele. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. I received my Master’s in Community Counseling from Georgian Court University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stockton University.
I have experience working with various populations including children, teens, families, adults, and veterans in the outpatient setting, though my current focus is working with adults. My strengths include working with individuals who are suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, performance/sports anxiety, and grief. While my training background is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) based, I prefer to use an integrative approach in meeting individual client needs. Other treatment modalities I have experience with include Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Parent Management Training (PMT), and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
Providing clients with a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic environment is my top priority. I look forward to helping you meet your therapeutic goals!
