Therapy for Children, Adolescents, & Teens

Is your child struggling with their behavior or emotions and you don’t know how best to help them? Could you use some help supporting your child’s emotional intelligence but aren’t sure where to begin? Our therapists can help!

What kind of therapy do you provide?

Our therapists can provide support to your child and/or family when you feel like you’ve tried everything. We have experience assisting children who have experienced traumatic events, are struggling in school, or just need some help figuring out how to handle their emotions in a healthy way. In some cases, a child may simply need an impartial adult to talk to who they feel understands them. We can help give your child the help and support they need.

What methods or interventions do you use?

We utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but at times will use a more eclectic method, depending on the needs of each client. We love working alongside individuals to figure out the barriers they are facing to living their best life and how to achieve their therapeutic goals.

How often will I meet with my therapist?

This varies from client to client but most individuals start with weekly sessions, eventually reducing frequency as they begin to meet their therapeutic goals. If you desire biweekly sessions, you can speak to your child’s therapist during their intake to figure out what will work best for you and your child.
